Turn Point Design can machine your boat kit at a very high level of accuracy. We have been cutting boat kits from designers all over the world for 20 years. Our staff all have experience building boat kits themselves and thus are aware of the details necessary for a kit to go together well. We can also take an existing design and create a CNC kit of parts ready to assemble.

10’ 6” row and sail boat. A few features set this apart from other small boats of this size. The first thing you will notice is that she is only 65 lbs which means it is possible for a single person to lift the boat and put it in the back of their car... Or on top of it if you have been keeping up your gym membership. Another feature of note is that most of the cockpit space is sealed off dry storage. This creates an incredibly safe boat that ships very little water in a capsize.

The kit is offered in CNC cut foam panels to reduce weight, increase resale value, and increase longevity of the finished boat. The design captures much of the latest performance design aspects of the Mini Transat boats that race single handed across the Atlantic. But condensed down to a more manageable and affordable size. She can comfortably sleep two adults and a child onboard for overnight adventures, or effortlessly plane downwind above 10 knots when kept light.
